Behind? Who me? Never.....

So I have been told that I am a little tiny bit behind on my blogging... sorry! The last little while has been crazy busy with a couple trips to Utah, a trip to Hoehne, camping, a few trips to the hospital for a broken finger and stiches, surgery on Casen for a set of ear tubes, a bajillion doctors appointments (not even exaggerating) and just life. I loved every minute of it (except the hospital stuff- that was rough). I also have been having fun doing some sweet crafts (pics to come-i promise) and so here is a rough catch-up of that last little while....

Here Reag- hold up your brother....

Casen and his darling pumpkin hat from Great G-ma Eborn

Another sweet I've-been-camping-way-to-long-and-need-a-shower pic

Stylin' her supper cute hat from her great g-ma Eborn

Reagy loves her little brother and sometimes squeezes
his a little too tight...

Grandma came to visit and I know she is gonna LOVE this picture :)

Casens first food experience.

Taking a practice run for her Halloween costume

Camping with the Eborns at Mirror Lake

Isn't Casen just so stinkin cute!

Reagan got her first real bike. It has princesses all over it and
it even has a baby seat in the back where she puts Mickey and Minnie.

Just chillin' with cousin Caleb (uncle Scotts little one)

The four wheeler at Grandma Philpotts farm. Seriously,
she wont get off of this thing. Love is not a strong enough
word for how she feels about this 'reeler' as she calls it.

Sunday naps with Daddy. I'm not quite sure how this happened.

Casen's Blessing

Family is such a blessing. I loved having family come out this weekend for Casen's blessing. I know we live out in the middle of nowhere, but it was great to see people come and support us for Casen. Thanks guys, you mean the world to us! Casen was a great sport and didn't cry once (which was quite remarkable since he had two terrible ear infections-poor little guy).

We love you Casen!

I know this is random, but I thought it was just so cute: you stay on your side of the couch and I will stay on my side. Don't cross the line!
This is Casen's first documented smile!
I just love you to pieces-wheeces you little cutie patutie!

We Only Teach The Important Stuff

Parents don't have an easy job raising sweet little children and we take our teaching responsibility very seriously. Well, Devin is much more serious than others. This last week he taught Reagan to jump off the couch with the proper form and taught her the best way to slide down the stairs on a pillow. They had a very lengthy discussion on which sort of pillow gives you better 'slide potential and speed''. He teaches her everything she needs to know. What a wonderful Dad. Reagan is one lucky kid!

Here we are learning to proper way to hit a ball. These things are very important (and it's just so darn cute). *notice the shoes*

I know we are a little behind the times but this is out first semi-decent family picture. We headed up to the lake to watch the fireworks, which were pretty impressive for our little town :)

Rantings of a Crazy Woman

Dear Reagan,
I love you. I love you. I love you. That is what I am going to tell myself everytime you: throw a fit, refuse to get into your carseat screaming histarically to the point people are going to come to your rescue because they think you are being beaten or something, refuse to come up the stairs until Dad (who is at WORK) will come bring you up, or run outside and leave me a wonderful "present" on the back steps before I could get a new diaper on you. I am also aware that when I say "no", you are secretly laughing on the inside.

Dear Hornady,
I am aware of your greatness Hornady Reloading Press, but I hate your stinkin guts. Ahhh, I said it. It's out in the open for all to hear. I know you make Devin giddy like a little kid because you make it possible to shoot many prairie dogs, but you are overtaking my kitchen. Powders, dyes, shells, sprays, bullets arghh. And yes I do know that you only really take up about a 2ft by 2ft area, but it feels like more to me. I think we are going to have a love-hate relationship for a long time.

Dear Rent Situation,
My life would be a touch easier if I could find a place to rent that will fit our growing family. I don't need a mansion, but I would like to have a choice between "crappy" and "crappier". I would greatly appreciate your cooperation town :)

Dear Mice,
You are sick, nasty, repulsive, dirty, disgusting, vile things and we are not friends. If you come into my house one more time, I will be forced to have Devin throw you out of the house AND I will ask him not to kill you so you can tell all of the other mice that are out side plotting and planning their 'war mission' on us- that next time they will have wished they had watched "The Great Escape" because it will not be pretty. Once again I will repeat, we are not friends!

Ahh. Much better.

20 3/4 inches long

Mom and Casen just after delivery

On our way home!

Casen when he is actually awake!
We are so excited to have Casen join our little family. Reagan loves her little brother and always wants to help change his diapers, get him dressed, and gives him LOTS of kisses and hugs. Its adorable. She will be a great big sister. Everyone is doing well and recovering nicely. Devin picked the name for the most part. Casen's middle name is Eugene which was Devin's grandpa Philpotts middle name. They were very close and Devin had a special relationship with Grandpa. We love having the name for our new little bundle of joy. Love you Baby Casen!

Reagan's 2nd Birthday

Time flies!

My little sweet baby is growing up so fast! Yesterday was her 2nd birthday and I couldn't believe it. She has brought more joy to my life than I ever could have hoped for. She makes me laugh and cry... sometimes at the same time. She is the sweetest little girl and I love her so much. Reagan has become my right-hand little helper. She loves to help mommy cook dinner everyday. She puts on her "dress" (apron), climbs up on the stool, grabs any utensil from the drawer and proceeds to stir, chop, throw, mix and taste test food at any stage of the cooking process. She loves dough or batter in any form--raw eggs or not.

For her birthday Reagan got lots of dress-ups and about 7 pairs of shoes to play with. She is a girl after my own heart. She also got a tee ball set and loves to bat. She is a natural!

Reagan is a split of mommy and daddy. She loves to dress up in girly clothes and jewelry then play with any ball she can find. She LOVES to play basketball with Dad and could do it for hours. She will frequently wake up at 2 in the morning, call for Daddy and con him into going upstairs with her and will beg to watch basketball. Such a Daddy's girl and he loves every minute of it!!

I love this little girl so much! Happy Birthday little Reagy!

Happy St Patrick's Day!!
Reag is still a little too young to understand holidays.... but I'm not! I love holidays. There is no other way around it. The decorations, the food, the excitement (yes i know st. patty's isn't the most exciting but it is still fun...), and the food. Ok I really like to make fun dishes and desserts---today is no exception. I also hate to use recipes (that drives Dev crazy! Hahahaha!). I blame this on my mother. She is such a fantastic cook that she doesn't need recipes and I am bound and determined to be the same. I am not to her expert level yet... but someday. Today I made a cake (without a recipe and it is suppose to look like this-
Mine I am sure we be much more fantastic. :) Who needs recipes anyway.

Reagan is a wonderfully quick learner. She is talking up a storm and it is darling! She doesn't always get the right letters and sounds in her words, which I have to admit is half the fun. She just learned what her name is and according to her it is: Reagy Poo-pott. I just love this little girl!
